BIG BROTHER PROGRAM

Big Brothers are men of good character, who share three to four hours a week in a mutually enjoyable activity with a boy who lacks a regular male influence.

Outings times are flexible which appeals to many busy men whose free time varies each week.  Planning outings is easy because you can share your interests with a boy and involve him in things you are already doing. 

The Big Brother offers guidance, a positive male role model and most of all friendship and fun!

Volunteers take part in a screening process which includes two interviews, references , a police clearance and an orientation to become familiar with the agency and their role as a Big Brother.  The volunteer plays an active role in choosing a Little Brother.

Great care is taken in matching Big and Little Volunteers to ensure they are compatible and share common interests.
